Casper Bluff Land and Water Preserve: Casper Bluff offers hiking trails, bird watching, sightseeing, Native American archaeology and much more on 85 acres of scenic Mississippi River bluffs.
Galena Recreation Park: The 8.5 acre Recreation Park features the Alice T Virtue Water Park, a skateboard and BMX bike park, softball fields, 7 pavilions, playgrounds, basketball and sand volleyball courts, horse shoe pits, shuffleboard, croquet field, and restrooms.
Galena River Trail: The Galena River Trail offers 8.0 miles (one way) of scenic hiking, biking or cross country skiing for users. The hard surfaced finely crushed rock trail is open to the public at no cost. The surface is best suited for mountain bikes and hybrids, but road bikes are frequently seen on the trail.
